Hi, I found a baby pigeon.not sure how old he is. On the Sunday I found him covered in looked like flies, but flat, and was eating him. Maybe about 30 of them. I removed all of them by Sunday evening. He was walking when I found him but so weak. Monday he had stopped using his feet. He can no longer walk. If you touch the legs he pulls them back to his body so donโ€™t think they are hurt. He eats and drinks water every hour. Very lively but looks to have small blood in stool, stool is light brownDDEC7F6A-3F2F-4519-B93B-541BBCFC2A4E.jpeg

Hi Sarah and welcome to BirdForum !

So sorry to hear about this youngster. I would suggest that you find a wildlife rehabilitation center or a veterinarian that could help this poor little one. Please keep in touch and let us know how it is doing.

Hi Sarah and a warm welcome from me too.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.

Hi Sarah, welcome to the forum. As KC stated try and find a local rehabber.

Hi Sarah - thanks for the update, I'm sorry to hear he isn't recovering his movement.

It really sounds as if it's time to get him some professional help.

I agree. Time for a rehabber or vet.
You might try calling your local Audubon Society or a birding society near you and asking them for a referral.
