Lot's of Meadow Pipits and Hirundines, notably Housemartins on the move at Seaford head this morning, 4 Wheatears and 3 Whinchats were a bit of quality but overall the bushes were quiet. 2 Greenshanks and 6 Common Sandpipers along the Cuckmere also of interest. Lots of pics and fuller report on the blog at the link

Yes the early morning sun, with the orangey soil at the cliff edge made.it look nice, haven't done anything to it either except cropped and maybe sharpened a little ! ! The other half reckons I'm obsessed with Wheatears!! As I can't walk past one with out trying to get a pic!! But they are fantastic subjects and arguably better looking in the Autumn than the Spring!!

I definitely agree with loving Wheatears, I always looked forward to seeing them on the perenial dung heap at Eyebrook Reservoir in the Springtime.
