Hi,

Bumped into a Dove. First identified as Plumbeous Pigeon, but looking back at photos I feel like it more should belong to a White-tipped Dove, even though tail tips can't be seen. Even though eye-colour fits pretty great with this individual of Plumbeous Pigeon: ML273681281 - Plumbeous Pigeon - Macaulay Library

Leaving me confused. Any help or ideas of this one will be recieved with a smile.!

I think it's a plumbeous pigeon. Note head shape; I'm not seeing much reddish skin around the eye. I think the apparently pale head is lighting related

I agree to some extent, just annoying me that colouration of eye (and skin around eye) and body looks pretty similiar to these white-tipped: ML616368872 - White-tipped Dove - Macaulay Library and ML453258941 - White-tipped Dove - Macaulay Library

I find both eye colour and head shape different to the op photo for both these from Macauley.
