Barn owl camera (1 Viewer)

Hi

May I ask for some advice please? We have a pair of barn owls nesting in our roof space, they have been there for 11 years. We have CCTV cameras in the roof space but quality is not brilliant. Does anyone have any suggestions for a suitable camera to put in there please?

We look forward to your suggestions, the area of the space is around 4 x 6 feet.

Thanks in anticipation.

Lucky you!

Sort of guessing you have power or can run a wire, I'd use something like Reolink E1 Zoom, which you can move around and zoom in. It's wifi and you need 5V power, you can see it on an app or a website on your LAN. You can save recordings and transfer them via wi-fi

Quality is way better that analogue CCTV and OK in low light. Remeber to turn the blue light off in the app ;)

Hi

Thank you for your reply.
We opted for a Annke C500, we have only just installed it. So far the picture is not perfect but much better than before, as the summer approaches the light will improve so will see how it goes.

Thanks again.

That's neat - lovely birds. It will be great seeing the young 'uns, and hopefully enough food around that you won't see the older young eat the little ones, which is a bit tough, though it's natures way of conserving resources...

The camera's the same sort of tech, there's probably a factory in China that makes the guts of all of these things under different brands.
