Hello,

I opened this forum by chance as I have come across two Leucistic Blackbirds - one in France and one in Andorra, where I live.
Always been interested in birds since I was in a school in the Surrey countryside and did Ornithology for my Duke of Edinburghs Award.
Used to be lots of birds here ( Resident Breeders, Migrant Breeders, Passage Migrant, Winter Visitor and, Hunting Territory) but numbers have definitely decreased over the last ten years.

Hi, welcome to birdforum, we hope you enjoy the site and feel free to join in where ever you wish.
I've seen quite a few partially leucisitc Blackbirds over the years, usually just a feather or two, nothing as dramtic as the one in your photo.
cheers,
Andy
