Message: <blockquote data-quote="ceasar" data-source="post: 1626392" data-attributes="member: 26155">I carry a Zeiss 8 x 20 Victory with me most of the time, either in a standard jacket pocket or in a shirt jacket pocket.  It's ergo's make it ready for use very quickly compared to the Leica 8 x 20 Trinovid I used to carry before I got the Victory.  Optically, I can't see much difference between them.  It has very little focus past infinity, I notice, and it uses up a lot of the focus wheel on close up objects and not much at all on distances beyond 100 feet or so compared to the Leica.  It certainly is easier to find your IPD with it when you put it up to your eyes than it is with the Leica! It's a very handy binocular and you can often find it at a price under $400.00.  I got mine at CameraLandNY on a special sale last year.  I had to take it with a cordura case instead of the fancy leather one but it makes no difference since I don't have it in the case very often.Cordially,Bob</blockquote>
