I will see how the optics are when I get them. Thanks alot for the help.
Sounds good I don't know how to tell if it has dielectric coatings by the S/N. Doug told me mine were dielectric coated and that's why they are so bright. You really got a smoking deal on yours. It makes me wonder if they have the dielectric coatings. It seems like the consensus is that if they have the dielectric coatings they are as bright as the Leica Ultravids. I am really happy that the ER is longer than the Trinovids because that is my main problem with them. Not enough ER leading to blackouts. I have to hold my eyes a litttle ways back to get the full FOV on the Trinovids. It does disturb me that the focus is tighter on the Zeiss than the Leica. I don't like tight focuses and it seems like that is a problem that can vary from binocular to binocular even on the same model. The difficulty in setting the diopter doesn't bother me because you only have to it once. How does the case and strap compare to the Leica's? I have heard the Zeiss strap is kind of cheesey. Oh well I will see if I like the Zeiss. I am kind of trying to find the best compacts for me. I definitely like the single hinge and the fact that the Zeiss are waterproof. I will see how the optics are when I get them. Thanks alot for the help.
