Message: <blockquote data-quote="Alexis Powell" data-source="post: 1636744" data-attributes="member: 5327">Glad you found a model that suits you.  I'm a big fan of the Zeiss 8x20 Victory myself but I end up using the Leica 8x20 Ultravid more often because of the big focusing knob.  When unfolded asymmetrically, the Leica fits the hand very much as the Zeiss, but I find the big knob on the Ultravid easier to quickly roll with my finger to adjust focus rapidly from closest focus to infinity and vice-versa.  I do that a lot with my pocket bins because they are a favorite choice for butterflying, interspersed with looks at birds along the way.  The focus knob on my Zeiss is smooth and precise, but its narrower profile makes it feel much different than the knob on full sized binos.  For me, the Ultravid has a feel very similar to that of full-sized bins.--AP</blockquote>
