An SE would likely suffer less, but even there you would have to consider yourself extremely lucky if it didn't need service or replacement after such an experiment.Then again, a 1 meter drop onto a stone floor is such a severe test that hardly any binoculars come to mind I'd dare to subject to that if I needed to go birding with them afterwards.Kimmo</blockquote>
