I would seriously recommend them to anyone who is looking for mid-to very-good level binos at a price-range mentioned in the intro to this thread.
I just looked at Fendis....OMG! What a price tag! I wouldn't even pay that for a racing bike! Maybe we should stick with the Zeiss Conquest HD-level bags...the MK's are the most popular here. And really nice bags too, for all occasions, although some of them have too much metal-ware. BTW the 3 bags since xmas were cos xmas, birthday and wedding anniversary come close together. Mods, feel free to put an end to this madness whenever..... But back to binos, and speaking of Celestrons, I recently bought a pair of new, unused Granite ED 10x42 on a local website. The owner had been given them by his girlfriend as he likes horse-racing...but get this...he prefers his Bressers! I tried to show him the True Path with a side-by-side, but he wouldn't budge. Maybe he just needed the sale. I bought them, but have since resold them to a gentleman BF-member who I hope enjoys them. But the point is this...I think they are very, very impressive binos. I know some people complained about the 'sweet spot', but I thought it was more than adequate. 6.5 degrees FOV! And the handling reminded me of Nikon EDG or Monarch, as did the focusser. Very compact. They vary a lot in price, but occasionally can be had for around 400 euro, I think, if you keep an eye on the various sites. I would seriously recommend them to anyone who is looking for mid-to very-good level binos at a price-range mentioned in the intro to this thread.
