I returned them this afternoon. </p><p>Like all of you said, a person HAS to use a pair of binos before they know what they want.</p><p></p><p>I like the Yosemities, or rather I "want" to like them. I want to have an inexpensive pair of binos with features like the Yosemite, but I found out that using them is a different matter. I do not like the stubborn focus wheel at all and with a pair of gloves it's not working for me. Also with a pair of gloves the binos are really too small. I found today (full sun for once) that I saw a lot of glare and whitish haze in the outer 20% of the field of view. </p><p></p><p>Those issues were enough for me (along with the yellow/tan color that does not grow on me), to return them.</p><p></p><p>It's back to another search. I think I'm starting to obsess about the whole thing. I really tend to do that and the crazy thing is that since the stroke, I tend to do that even more........ Anyhow, I have decided once and for all that <u>I will buy a pair of Roof Prism binos</u>. Somewhere between $100 - $150. I am not worried about Phase Coatings. My eyes don't seem to need them (so far). I spent another hour or two over at GM today and looked again at the Bushnell Natureview and Powerview. I may try the Natureview in 8x42 roof. The powerview was pretty bad. When I look at all the online sights it's like a myriad of people selling the same thing? </p><p>Alpen, Bushnell, Burris, Vortex, Swift, Nikon, Zhummell and the list goes on. I find all those makes in a 8x42mm Roof Prism for Under $100 to $150 all over the internet. Is there really any difference in any of them? I mean really? </p><p></p><p>99% of them are:</p><p>Nitrogen Purged</p><p>Fully Multicoated</p><p>BAK4</p><p>Watefproof</p><p>Long eye relief</p><p></p><p>So what's really different other than warranty?</p><p></p><p>Anyhow, I will shut up now........
