Bewick's Wren Breeding Question (1 Viewer)

So, we put up a bird box this past Winter. It was a Screech Owl box, but we probably didn't put it up high enough for the owls to be interested. Instead, our local Bewick's Wren pair commandeered it in late February and now we have 5 healthy chicks being tended to. My question: is this an abnormal behavior? It's two full months before they supposedly begin nesting. Is this simply an outcome of climate change, or some other stressor on the birds, or is this just a local adaptation? I'm in northern California, btw.

Chart is from Cornell's Birds of the World website (https://birdsoftheworld.org/bow/species/bewwre/cur/breeding - subscription based)
