Hi Deborah Thank you for your advise about the BTO. I looked up to BTO last night and they stated that they take any information about ringed birds on board. So I filled in their form and I sent it to them, and I will see what they say about it. :t: I am sure that is not the last we have seen of the ringed starling as the Starlings pop in every day. I will keep my eyes peeled for it. Maybe there is more than one who knows. ;) Great listing of birds Deborah, despite of the neighbor problems. Trust the cats to turn up at the wrong moment. :C With bird counts you count the most that you see of that type of bird at one time. For example if you see one blackbird, you count one tick, than 3 others join it it counts as 4. They fly off and then another 3 Blackbirds appear at one time, it still counts as 4 blackbirds. I have to say someone made a loud bang noise here, and that caused the birds to disappear for a good 5 mins, Then they did a lesser bang. So noise is annoying at the wrong moment in the hour. So that is 2009 Birdwatch over now - hard to believe as it feels nothing from last years one,
