[QUOTE="CliveP, post: 3392532, member: 85835"] I've only tried the Hawke 8x43 Sapphire ED which I have owned for several years and am quite in awe of and I've owned a lot of bins including some of the top brands. The good news Janice is that whatever you choose from that bunch it will most certainly be sharp and lighter and easier to use (especially an 8x) than your 12x50 so I am sure one way or the other you are in for a treat eyes allowing. Maybe you should order one or two or more of them and only keep your favourite but you would have to outlay the cash and then wait for a refund on the return items but such is life when there is no good dealer nearby as I well know. It's a pity you didn't know anyone with good bins that you could try which is a problem I also find here. Maybe ring a dealer and ask what they can do or recommend? People here can only tell you what they think and prefer so maybe order the Zen and the Leica or something? You may just have to bite the bullet and chance one from that bunch and chances are you will be happy with any of them or if you are really not then return it and try again provided you buy with a return option. You might try looking at the tech specs for each of them or video review online and see if one stands out amongst them. One may be lighter, smaller, cheaper, have better eye relief for wearing glasses, have a wider field of view (fov) or have looks that you like etc. You are probably as confused as ever but in the end somehow you've got to get something and try it yourself. Unfortunately we can't do that for you. Even check the classifieds section on here where some great bargains come along at times.
