I have had cataract surgery on both eyes. They now function well, with about as much light sensitivity as before. They are not young eyes, so I am not back to what I were at 20, but still pretty good. The biggest problem right before surgery was lack of focusing ability, nothing looked in focus at any time. After surgery, the astigmatism was slightly less but not gone. I have no problem birding after the surgery (which actually happened 3 years apart, one eye at a time). Niels</blockquote>
