Binocular repairs/service (1 Viewer)

So I'm attempting to send in a couple of binoculars for some service. Two brands, Swarovski and Vortex. Really a STARK contrast in attempting to do so. Binoculars 1 is a Vortex Razor UHD 10X50 I bought in Decemberish. Focus effort is way to hard and hinge tension not enough. All I did was fill out a form and stick in box and off it went. Binocular 2 is a Swarovski SLC B 8X42 I bought NIB several years ago. It's always had kind of a crappy focus but I've just tolerated it because optically it's excellent. I'm probably going to sell it and I can't in good faith sell it as is. So I went to Swarovski's website to "register" for repair. Once I find where to do that I start to register for repair and get "repair registration is undergoing maintenance. It will be available soon again." So as the Vortex optic is on its way for service the Swarovski remains here waiting on their service page to come back up.

Vortex- 1
Swarovski- 0

Just curious as to the "repair registration is undergoing maintenance. It will be available soon again" statement- any time stamp as to when it was first posted? Pat

No...no idea..

Why not write to [email protected] and ask whether there is a way of speeding things up? In my experience they always were very helpful.
I'm going to give them a call. I didn't have time before work. It sure would have been quick and easy to be able to finish it online.
