Director to bridge: turrets A, B, and C pointed at the waterline—range 600 yds. Standing by. Subzero888: Like so many who read my comments too fast to think about what I’m actually saying, you have read into those comments that which was NOT there, and have insulted me in the process. —A comment was made about CARP being bottom feeders. —A carp is a FISH. —My comment was made about CATFISH also being bottom feeders. —I love deep fried, breaded catfish. I used to get most of mine from a houseboat on the Bayou near Little Dixie, just north east of Des Arc. —My comments about Arkansas was as a “homeboy,” and I bloody-well knew what I was talking about … unlike some who are quick to draw unfounded conclusions. They had NOTHING to do with anyone’s welfare system—Arkansas, Idaho, or the $14,000,000,000,000 boondoggle created by Pres. Johnson in 1964. Perhaps you have a guilty conscience; I do not. My first, first grade class was in Augusta. Other Arkansas homes (my father was an itinerate contractor) were Beebe, McRae, Pangburn, Heber Springs, Wiville, Griffithville, Des Arc, Cotton Plant, Judsonia, Bald knob, McCrory, Heth, Hughes, West Memphis, and Earle. I graduated high school in Parkin, and my first degree was earned in Jonesboro. My first wife lived from between Imboden and Pocahontas. —Like so many of the NON-insulting comments I’ve made, the only insults here were constructed between your ears. Like Jgraider (also a Texan), who seems to have disappeared after insulting ME, recently, it would appear that some folks just live for finding boogie men behind every bush, for reasons known only to them. There are enough members on here who have known me long enough to know that what you perceive in me is NOT true. Sadly, they also know I don’t get wrapped around the axle with political correctness. I have been pleased to claim West Texas (Pecos/Verhalen) as a long-time home. However, since the last two snotty-grams I have received have come from there, I may have to rethink my allegiance. :cat: Perterra: help me here. Bill
