Hello everyone. I saw this bird today in a river in Guadalajara (Spain). I know the quality is really poor, but I hope the tail can help with the id.

Sergio, you say in a river, do you mean by/over the water or actually swimming before it flew? I’d guess Green Sandpiper perhaps, they usually call, did you hear anything?

It was walking in the water and flying close to the surface. It clearly was a shorebird/wader, so Tringa ochropus seems okay to me.
