I think the bird in your link can't be Cape Weaver with a bill like that. Don't know where Addo is, is Yellow (African Golden) in range?

I also disagree with ID. It has red eyes and too much black in the face. I would suggest adult male non-breeding Southern Masked, or Village. Tending towards Southern Masked, though due mantle pattern. It is still in transition, hence the black, I think. I think Otto Addo is just in range. Quite a lovely game park too.
