I was wondering if anyone could help identify this bird for me please. I took this in St James Park London, and I have never seen one of these birds before, in my neck of the woods.

Picture took 4 July 2021.

White-headed Duck is a species which originates from Spain, Turkey and Kazakhstan; although some individuals have been seen in “wild” places in the UK, none have (yet) been accepted as genuine vagrants.
