Bird identification please, my guess is Sparrowhawk. (1 Viewer)

Could you give the location and date, please? Thanks.
If it's somewhere that sparrowhawk is the local small Accipiter, then, yes, it's a sparrowhawk.
 
Yes, Sparrowhawk - though it would've been handy to know where the bird was photographed - (assumed Nottinghamshire, as per your profile). There are some alternatives dependent on which part of the world the bird was photographed, but for UK, that's a Sparrowhawk.
