Hello everyone, spotted these two whilst out hilly/ moorland in Scotland.
Can anyone tell me what they are?

Welcome to BirdForum. These look like Common Crossbills. Normally these are in coniferous forest, so it's a bit unusual to see them on moorland. I guess there was some forest nearby though.
 
Of course... silly me.... fooled by the habitat. Thought the one on the left was a bit too colourful LOL.

That'll teach me to do IDs;)
