Bird of prey West Midlands (1 Viewer)

Hello. The attached bird came over the house quite low and seemed maybe about the size of a wood pigeon. By the time I got my camera to focus, it had circled quite a bit higher. Didn't look like the dozens of Buzzards that have been in the sky this morning but I'm no expert. Thought Buzzard had dark wing tips. Can anyone tell me what it is please? Thank you.
