I haven't posted for quite a while. But here's a recap of the birds we ringed at Ngulia. This was quite a unique year where we were a mostly all Kenyan crew at Ngulia. Some really interesting resident species were ringed and also a good number of Paleartic migrants. The highlights during the first week were:
- We ringed 31 nightjars on the first night!
- 3 species of wheatears and 3 species of tchagras ringed in one day!
- Green-backed Twinspot and Southern Grosbeak canary were an interesting record for most of us.
- Ringed 4 species of hornbills, and I got to tackle 2 of them!!
