Bird walks in Singapore (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone

Just by way of introduction, I am an amateur wildlife photographer based in Delhi. I am a lawyer by profession and have recently started doing photography. I am planning to visit Singapore in the first week of March 2025 and was wondering if anyone is aware of any bird walks that I can attend when I am there. I have read that Singapore has some excellent birding spots and I would like to visit a couple when I am there. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.

The Botanic Gardens is quite good for birds. Head over to Sentosa Island which has plenty of green, natural areas.

Dairy Farm is a must-go, especially at this time. Bukit Batok is guaranteed Straw-Headed Bulbul. Pulau Ubin is guaranteed White-Rumped Shama - take the bumboat from the Ferry Terminal at Changi Village. While in Pulau Ubin, visit Chek Jawa boardwalk - you can rent a bicycle or take a taxi. Heliconia Walk in the SBG will give you 3 species of sunbird. Pasir Ris Park for the Spotted Wood Owl and Oriental Pied Hornbills - ask anyone carrying a camera - and Sungei Buloh entrance for Buffy Fish Owl. All of these places provide significant walks if you want to stretch your legs.
