Birding Central Spain (1 Viewer)

Hi,
Late April/May I'm visiting the Salamanca/Avila/Plasencia area for a few days and would welcome any advise on the sites in this area.

If no one comes up with specific sites try searching for hot spots on eBird. Here is a link centred on Salamanca and filtered for April: https://ebird.org/hotspots?env.minX...&env.maxY=40.994545057154824&mr=on&m=4&yr=all

You can zoom out and also change the date range to May and/or the location to Avila or Plasencia.

Not far from Plasencia is Monfrague NP, if you can afford to spend at least 1 day there it is definitely worth it.

Yes we have been to Monfrague area before and are spending a few days in Trujillo.

You may know this one already but Birdingplaces |The free online guide to birding! is worth a browse. People submit "places" to go birdwatching with useful info (how to get there, what species occur, best season, equipement, etc) very well organized. It complements ebird.
