Hi David,
Great report ! One question; what camera / lens were you using ? Your pictures seem to be of a considerably better standard than most I have seen from PNG !

Thanks for the nice feedback.

For most photos I used a Canon 50D with a Sigma 150-500 lens or for things a little closer a Canon EF70-300 lens both with Image Stabliser set at 1.
For a couple of the record shots I used a Samsung 770 through a Nikon ED spotting scope with a 30W eye piece.

I think I mention which set up on most photos in the Gallery.

Best shots are mainly from Kumul area where birds are a lot less wary than other areas of PNG although even here there is some hunting.
