Get a Lonely Planet and you'll see you can get to the desert places, etc, with no real major difficulty.A previous trip to Morocco was done entirely by public transport, including all the desert locations, etc. I will concede however that Oukaimeden might be difficult to reach (but I think 'shared taxis' do run there from Marrakesh), either way I am sure you could organise something - the very best birding is at/around the ski resort at the top, so head for that and you'll be alright.</blockquote>
