There is a hotel on the road that goes north from the village (about 1km from village centre) - not very expensive and easy walking to the river mouth. The ibis are easy to find, they roost on the cliffs north of the river and feed on hillsides ...if you don't find during the day, they fly into the cliffs in the evening.
