Birding software (1 Viewer)

Great software which works brilliantly in Access........any idea how I can get it to work on Pocket PC....using HanDbase?? (no access for pocket pc!)

I'm not very up on Access!

Thanks
Julie

Julie,

Hmmmm. What software are we talking here 'Works brilliantly in Access................'

Can't say I've ever used a pocket pc, so HanDBase doesn't mean too much either (does it really fit in your pocket!)

If you are indeed talking of my Access database (then i'm gonna use your quote), i'm working on a runtime version, which doesn't require Access to be installed, but whether it works on a pocket pc, i'd have no idea.

Birding Databse

Yes your database!!

It is indeed brilliant!

Yes my Pocket PC fits in my pocket!!!!

Handbase is a database program ( with a Pocket PC or Windows CE version) which "apparently" can read Access files......but as I said I do not use Access otherwise so I'm a bit clueless! It is probably me not doing something obvious.

Thanks for replying.

Julie,

If its anything like DBase on desktop pcs (which can also read Access databases), I think what it means is you can link or import a table (just the table) into it, I could be wrong.
