Birds absolutely rule? (1 Viewer)

Hello, all.

I'm Brent, I'm 36, and I am very new to the discovery of the majesty of birds. I grew up in Connecticut, lived in NYC and LA for a bit, and now I'm back in the region, in New Haven, but moving to a house in Cheshire soon. I've needed a place to talk about and learn more about birds. As of now, I have a feeder in my New Haven complex and have befriended a mourning dove couple, a cardinal couple, house finches, blue jays, starlings, house sparrows, white-throated sparrows, robins, tufted titmice, downy woodpeckers... the usuals. I haven't seen anything out of the ordinary yet, but I plan to go birding more often.

How many people on here reside in the Connecticut region (or even the Tri-State area)?

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.

Welcome to Birdforum! I am sure that you will find lots to interest you here and I hope that you enjoy your visits.

I visited Connecticut in 2019 when I holidayed in New England.

Hey Brent! Welcome to the forums. I’m pretty new myself and have been having a great time talking birds with people from all over the world!
