Shore Lark Hayling - Can anyone help with more precise directions for this bird? I know the car park behind the Esso garage, from where I normally access the Oyster beds area to scope it, but where are posts B / C etc? are they nearer the Ship Inn end ? thanks for any info, may try at w/e

Park in the carpark as normal.

Then walk right towards the beds, it should be on the island in front of you, you can view by the bus shelter or the hawthorn bush or move left or right depending on the bird's location.

Hopefully it's still there!

There maybe wind surfers here this weekend

You should see Black-necked grebes, goldeneye, moving down the harbour towards entrance, Gt Northern diver, shag, yellow legged gull and lots more besides.
