The quick-find index is one of them. It's good to see the Cocos Island species being shown separately. And I congratulate the authors for keeping falcons next to the remaining raptors. It's just one proof that this is truly a "book by birders for birders" as they say in the preface. Placing swallows next to swifts, as good old RTPeterson had done (at least in the European FG) is another such feature. Highly appreciated, by many I'm sure.:t: My only immediate criticism is that there are a considerable number of missing illustrations in the Rarities chapter at the end.</blockquote>
