Please help with ID of birds in Kasai Rinkai Park, Tokyo.

1. Ring-necked Ducks?

2. Could these also be Ring-necked Ducks? Sorry for the poor photo quality as they were quite far out.

3-5. These three photos are of the same bird as it flew past me. I have no experience with gulls but this looked different from the many Black-tailed Gulls there. At first I thought this was a first winter bird but it doesn't have a white rump as a Black-tailed should. And the bill (back-lit photo 4) seems to be black/grey and not flesh-coloured with black tip as the Black-tailed Gull should be. First impression was that this was a larger bird than the Black-tailed Gull.

Help much appreciated!

1&2. Greater Scaup. Ring-necked Duck doesn't normally occur in Japan.
3-5. Not totally sure but would suggest Slaty-backed Gull.
