18/9/12 Hobby still around the Hartshill ridge no doubt attacking the steady passage of Hirundines mainly Swallows passing through.

28/9/12 Hartshill vis mig Meadow Pipit numbers increase to 177 in half the time today compared to yesterday, after a constant down pour I finished at 9:19 the Meadow Pipits were flying low today there was a stiff SW Breeze, I believe the higher you go the more windier it gets. Seen 1 group of 25 Meadow Pipits through compared to the largest group on previous counts was 7 - 8. Full details Trektellen Great Britain.

3/10/12 Hartshill Vis mig a Redwing and Golden Plover high over, Woodpigeon increasing, Meadow Pipit stable, Hirundines low.
Best place for Hirundines now would be over water taking insects before moving South. i.e 400 House Martin Dosthill lake yesterday morning.

Regards, John
