Birdwatcher's Diary master lists (1 Viewer)

As noted in another thread, Birdwatcher's Diary has now been updated to run on at least the current iOS (not sure about other platforms). But the master lists available from Stevens Creek for download are not updated to any version of the latest taxonomy. Has anyone had any success creating an updated master list? Any hints? I just downloaded from ABA the most current ABA-area checklist, deleted columns all columns not associated with species name and four-character code and all rows not associated with species. Saved it as a .txt file. Apparently I need to convert it to an .LST file, but that's easier said than done.

A .lst file is just a .txt file by another name. If you change the extension to .lst, it will work fine (in my experience ....).

Thanks for the response. I finally figured that out (after watching someone's YouTube video).
