hi all, having a problem with my monitor...or is it something else? in the last few days ..for no apparent reason it goes off on itself , like if its going on stand-by
flashes off for a few seconds then comes back on? randomly...sometimes it works for hours sometimes few minutes...driving me mad :C mark

Check the screen saver options by right clicking your desktop and selecting properties. Click the Screen Saver tab and make sure to select None from the drop down list, click apply. Then under Monitor Power, click the power button and make sure all the options on the Power Schemes page are set to never. Click apply/ok, then when that windows closes, click ok.

If that doesn't solve the problem, try connecting a known working monitor and see if you still get the same behaviour.

Open Screen Saver Settings by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, clicking Personalization, and then clicking Screen Saver.

To turn off all screen savers, under Screen Saver, click (None) in the drop-down list, and then click OK.

See HERE for info on how to turn off any power saving options etc.

they's fixed free of charge...they have not replied to me,:C
