Hi Everyone, I’ve just joined. Love birds and wildlife. We have a nest box which was being used by blue tits. The mum and dad were in and out constantly. We saw them this morning. We went out for an hour or so and since we got back we’ve not seen them at all. Does this mean the chicks have fledged and they have gone completely😪 I’m a complete novice at all this

Hi Cal and a warm welcome to you from all the Staff and Moderators.

It could be that they've fledged. But they shouldn't be far away, the parents still feed them for a few days. They young ones have yellow faces, instead of white.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I look forward to hearing your news.
