Blythe Valley, Solihull (1 Viewer)

Yesterday (6th), about 300 Golden Plover at Box Trees and a flock of about 40 flew over Blythe Valley CP, with Redwing, few Mistle Thrushes, Great Spotted and Green Woodpecker, and male Kestrel also there (Paul Anthony).

Wigeon numbers

42 Wigeon at Blythe Valley on November 30th (Martin Lindop). Site is becoming much more favourable for the species than it used to.

Egret or the leucistic Grey Heron flew over the M42 at Monkspath where the R. Blythe goes under the motorway yesterday early afternoon. Only saw it with the naked eye at some distance as I was driving to work.
