I recently bought the Bresser Spotting Scope from Lidl in Ireland complete with tripod and (universal) digital camera adapter. I'm happy enough with the scope for the money (149.99 euro) especially when I see it on other websites selling for around 349.00 euro. I agree with other comments made about the ball head on the tripod making it very difficult to move the scope around. I have found the best way is not to tighten the bolt too much on the tripod ball head. Just enough so that you can still move the scope around fairly easily without it dropping out of position. I am hoping there is someone out there that has this scope and has been using it for digiscoping as I really need some help in this area. Is this Spotting Scope any good for Digiscoping? I have a Fuji Finepix S3500 which I cannot get to fit on the universal camera adapter. Please correct me if I am wrong making this statement but I cannot find anyway of connecting the two together. The camera lens zoom extends when switched to photography mode and is too long to match up to the scope eye piece. Also the width of the camera lens (with the attached lens cover) is greater than the scope. It's a shame as the camera is only a couple of years old. It's only 4 million pixel but it looks as if I might need to get a better camera to fit my adapter or look around for a suitable adapter for my camera. That's if the Bresser Spotting Scope is worth pursuing for Digiscoping.
