Brown Goshawk vs. Collared Sparrowhawk, Tasmania (1 Viewer)

Hi everyone,

I took photos of two (or one?) Accipiters on Maria Island, Tasmania, end of February this year and I am having trouble IDing them with certainty.
First I saw and photographed the bird on photo 1. I think this is a Brown Goshawk as the tail appears rounded (could be moulting artifact?) and the body rather heavy.
Only a few minutes after seeing this bird another one appeared (photo 2). I initially thought it is the same bird (and it might be!) but after looking at the pictures, the bird appeared more lightly build to me and the tail rather squared than rounded. However, this can be an artifact as the tail and wings are held differently here.

Would be happy to get some input on these/this bird.

Cheers,
Stefan

Two different birds. The marking patterns differ, for example on the underbody and also on the underwing - see the first image at the roots of the first five primaries on the left wing (that's the right wing from below!) there are four distinctive short dark bars. These are not on the second image. The pattern of chest markings in both cases suggest juveniles. I don't have enough to ID with certainty either bird, I', afraid.
