Buteo in East Tennessee (1 Viewer)

Buteo was sighted near Douglas Lake east of Knoxville, Tennessee on December 9, 2020.

Agree. A couple of years ago I spent some time in Knoxville and was surprised to learn that Fish Crow was fairly common there.

These are American Crows. The crow on the left at the feeder in photo2 calls excessively, even when feeding. The crows scoop out the seed, which can be seen flying in the air to the left. I have not heard a Fish Crow here, but will certainly be more alert for them.
