Something of a bumper day today with four species being added to the year list. Best of the haul were Dark Green Fritillaries which were my first in Northamptonshire. A further three year firsts were recorded just over the border in Cambs but sadly they're outside the scope of this thread.

24/ Ringlet. Several seen at Ring Haw 20/6/20.

25/ Dark Green Fritillary. Half a dozen seen at Ring Haw 20/6/20.

A first Painted Lady of the year managed to evade my camera but was still a welcome addition. After the boom year of 2019 it looks as if 2020 is going to be one of the worst years for this attractive species.

33/ Painted Lady. One seen near Harry's Park Wood 19/7/20.

Another seen but not photographed species at Pitsford reservoir where a Clouded Yellow was recorded.

34/ Clouded Yellow. One at Pitsford Reservoir, 1/8/20.
