Only one place we could not find but the French do have a habit of putting electric fences across paths. We stayed in Arles last June and drove out every day. The temp was into the 40's and unusually for me I got bitten to pieces. My wife got bitten by what we think were spiders (according to the pharmacist) and came out in massive blisters on her legs and ankles. Worth wearing walking boots and trousers when out. Superb food and wine at reasonable prices (the 2 hour lunches were a bit of a drag but you just have to do them!!!!!). Don't know when you are going but we had a superb holiday.PS We went through the Chunnel and drove through France stopping a couple of nights on the way.</blockquote>
