Rosennanon Downs this morning, birds included 1 American Golden Plover, a small grey-ish Plover showing grey under-wing flew from the bottom end of the central fire-break towards Tregonetha Downs, calling twice, an urgent sad sounding 'koweedle' this individual the only Plover seen on Rosennanon Downs this morning! although 200+ European Golden Plover in the fields at St Breock a little later.

Two male winter Blackcap singing just yards apart this morning in the garden at Wadebridge; the song, more mellow, less hurried and less scratchy than the summer birds.
