Hi all , I'm just starting out into birding so I'm a beginner in everything when comes to camera and binoculars. Having purchased binoculars I've now got the headache of which camera with so much choice and not a clue what to go for I need some advice please .I'm swaying towards a cannon r7 purely cos I keep seeing this camera getting mentioned on forum. However because the 100-500 mm lens is so expensive which I can't afford just yet can anyone recommend another lens I can buy as a walk around lens for holidays and some bird photography just to get me started..any advice much appreciated. Mark

Hi, welcome to the forum on behalf of the staff and moderators. Sigma does make good lenses, you might also look at some 10-400 lenses.

Hi Mark and a warm welcome from me too. I hope we may be able to see some of your pictures in the Gallery before too long.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.
