Ernie Sorry for the late appearance on this thread, you have obvisously been busy trying out new things here and all credit to you for your success. I have always believed that it is about finding the right combination between scope-eyepiece-adapter-camera, when I bought the A620 it was the successor to the A95 and also the start of a external 4x zoom era when everyone said it would'nt work or with limited results (unknown territory as far as digiscoping went) but it has done me well. It shows how much a camera can achieve with some patience as I made it through the national finals of the Nikon photography of the year competition recently. Also I think people may be living in the past relying on 3x zoom cameras, things have more forward in my opinion and you have proved this with your results. If people are looking for a digiscoping camera I think the best way is to do some research on the forum see what equipment is being used and make a short list, then take your scope if posssible to a camera shop and see what works best. The other option would be make sure there is refund available and try it at home in the garden. Sorry for waffling Paul
