This was a more general comment about the listing of birds heard only. Loads of stories about birders out on a 'big day'...goin to the same 'sites' of scarce/rare birds..and they basically end up playing tapes to each other. I'm sure you get the farcical picture!Back on 'quail' tho........i've seen every method used short of dropping napalm to get a sighting of this species.....[okay...i'm goin back a bit in time...but i guess 'some' folk still get desperate to actually 'see' one]?</blockquote>
