Costings Clearly it is a location targeted at the package holiday market and the overall cost worked out reasonably at about £450 per person including food and beers but clearly we could have reduced costs in places. Flights:- EZY8703 - Gatwick to Tenerife & EZY8538 - Fuerteventura to Gatwick with one hold bag - Easyjet - combined £134. NT428 - Tenerife to Fuerteventura with one hold bag - Binter Canarias - £45. Accommodation:- Catalonia Punta del Rey, Las Caletillas - single room 50 Euros and double room 70 Euros half board with buffet breakfast and dinner - so average £31 per person per night so £93 each (half board cutting down on additional spending greatly). Suite Hotel Castillo de Elba, Costa de Antigua - room only with twin and camp bed - 70 Euros in total for two nights so £18 each. Car Hire:- We went with AutoReisen on both Tenerife and Fuerteventura at a cost of 142 Euros and 72 Euros respectively for full insurance with an additional (unused) driver - £35 and £18 each respectively. Incidentals:- Buffet breakfast and dinner on Fuerteventura at the hotel were 5 Euros and 11 Euros respectively; supermarkets, cafes, etc were common and at sensible prices; and petrol is cheaper than at home and we spent maybe 90 Euros on fuel between the two islands. We tend to deal with common expenditure by means of a central whip and total expenditure in that regard including a few beers was maybe 100 Euros each so £75. In addition, fuel to and from and parking at Gatwick increased this by £28 each. All the best
