Canon SX50 Bag/Case (1 Viewer)

A relative owns the Canon SX50 and, as a Christmas gift, has asked for a suitable bag to carry it around in. I was just wondering if other Canon SX40/50 users could recommend anything, please?

One thread I read said that the Lowepro Edit 110 is a good compact solution. Obviously Amazon.co.uk throws up a few suggestions but I just thought I'd ask on here as well.
Thanks

Thanks Dean. That does look very useful but I know this family member wants something very compact and which only holds the camera. I shall keep searching to see what options are out there :t:

I got a bag as part of the "bundle" when I bought the camera, so I can't recall what it is, but it's compact and has a built-in rain cover - I'll look when I get home, just posting to remind myself to do this!

I use this one.

It's a pretty snug fit for the camera including neck strap. There are pockets for other things, but a spare battery and a memory stick would about fill them.

If I was to buy another I would probably go for the one that MSA recommends. A bit more space for other odds and ends.

Thanks Alan, it really is very helpful to have a few to choose from.
All the best

Hi Mark
Can I just ask, does the SX50 fit into the Apex 110 AW in the manner shown in the attached image or does it fit in sideways, if you see what I mean?
Thanks
Hobbes

Yes, sideways - I'll try to post a pic tomorrow, as the one you've shown makes it look really odd!
